Overview / Summary of Topics:

This module covered assessments and objectives.  Alignment with objectives is key, assessment must match domain level, and the verb of objective should drive assessment.  Assessments measure objectives by specifying and explaining grading criteria, using a rubric on subjectively graded items, allowing viewing of the rubric prior to assessment, and providing good and bad examples if possible.  

 

Item of Interest:

Learning more about assessments helped me know the different and many ways to give an assessment and which activities that which assessments should go with.   

Areas of Help or Clarification:

I was still a little confused about certain assessments that I wanted to put into my design lesson plan project and which one a quiz should go with.
